Sharon Chen

Sharon is a founding member of the FinTech team at EY. Based in London, she focuses on the European and global FinTech ecosystem, working across all financial sectors and in particular on wealth and asset management. She advises FinTechs as they grow and scale, and supports incumbent firms as they invest, acquire and partner with FinTechs.

Amongst Sharon’s current projects is the EY FinTech Adoption Index, a global study of consumer and SME adoption across 28 countries that measures real customer use of FinTech propositions and investigates the corresponding attitudes and behaviours. She is also working with EY’s Transactions practice to develop a technology-enabled fundraising proposition to support FinTech scale-ups.

Sharon is a member of the inaugural 2018 Money2020 RiseUp cohort, and has also been recognised in Innovate Finance’s Women in FinTech Powerlist. She holds a MSc in Organisational Behaviour from the London School of Economics & Political Science.
