Nicole Olbe

Nicole is a commercially astute and highly customer-focused professional with 18 years’ experience in the payments ecosystem, and a reputation for driving results and strategy, galvanizing teams, embracing change, and delivering strong business performance.

Nicole is passionate about developing female talent and is actively contributes to the Barclays Diversity and Inclusion initiatives.

Nicole’s breadth of experience, both local and international, spans across the payments ecosystem including payment gateways, payment software and terminal hardware, ecommerce, and integrated in-store systems – with a particular focus on omni-channel, Payment Service Provision, and security capability.

Currently a sitting Executive Forum member of Barclaycard Payment Solutions, Nicole has previously worked for organizations including VeriFone, Discover Financial Services, and NET1 (Prism). She has lead direct and channel relationship management teams in the strategic and large corporate segment, spanning retail, banking, petroleum, mobile network operators and financial institutions. As Managing Director of the Barclaycard Payment Integration team, Nicole led a team delivering payment strategy, innovation and product development, and management across payment gateways, hardware and software.

In her current role, Nicole is focused on the strategic leadership, development, and enablement of a world-class payments partnerships team. Nicole is focused on driving this team to deliver integrated payments solutions by connecting our payment capabilities to the software used by clients and prospects, ensuring clients can grow their business with payments powered by Barclaycard.
