Kristy Duncan is founder and CEO of Women in Payments, a global initiative that connects, champions, and inspires women across the fintech and payments verticals in the UK, Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore. Women in Payments also runs awards and mentorship programs globally.
Kristy is an avid supporter of women-led fintechs, as investor and advisor to three women-founded and led fintechs: FI.SPAN, Digital Retail Apps, and ThriveSavings. She has been invited to judge accelerators, fintech contests, and award programs in the US, Canada and Australia.
Prior to WiP, Kristy consulted in payments and fintech, where her clients included financial institutions, payment networks, fintechs, and other payments industry leaders. Prior to that, she held leadership positions at a tier one Canadian bank in global transaction banking, treasury, finance and operations.
Kristy speaks frequently at global industry fora on topics of payments innovation, fintech, and diversity, and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and Engineering from the University of Toronto.
